Prepare natural tonics and show off an incredible face

The natural tonics, being made from organic ingredients, provide multiple benefits to the health of our dermis and help us look healthier and more radiant
The application of a tonic is an important part in the care of our skin, since it helps to close the pores, refreshes the skin and provides a natural care to our face .

Also, we must bear in mind that tonics must have natural ingredients and, in our home, we have them commonly at hand.  Therefore, we will teach you how to prepare them, so that your pocket is not affected and you do not have to leave the comfort of your home.

Prepare these natural tonics 

1.  Facial natural aloe toner

Aloe Vera is an almost magical plant that brings many benefits to health , as it acts as a healing and regenerating skin cells.

Ingredients

  • The juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 tablespoon of aloe gel (15 g)

Preparation and application

  • We will combine both ingredients until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
  • With this ready, we wash our face and with the help of a cotton ball, we rub on the face leaving it to dry and act without rinsing.
The most advisable thing is to make this application at night, before sleeping.  With this tonic, you will be able to hydrate and regenerate the skin's tissues, from the depth of its layers.


2.  Natural cucumber tonic

Cucumber is a carrier of vitamin E , which is essential to give vitality to the skin .  It also moisturizes and repairs tissues.

Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 cups of water (500 ml)

Preparation and application

  • Add the cucumber, previously cut, in a pot with the water and bring to a boil.
  • Let it boil until it reduces by half, and let stand until it has room temperature.
  • Later we will take it to a sterilized glass container with lid, to be able to reserve it in the fridge for next applications.
  • The applications will be made with a cotton on the entire surface of the face.  It is advisable to apply at night, after bathing.

3.  Natural facial tonic of rose water

This tonic is very easy to prepare, and it is at our fingertips, because if we have a garden, we will get its active ingredient from there.


Ingredients

  • The petals of 1 rose
  • 2 cups of water (500 ml)

Preparation and application

  • We will add the rose petals together with half a liter of water in a pot and let it boil until it is halved.
  • Then turn off and cover immediately, and let stand and then take to the refrigerator.
  • We also recommend packaging for upcoming applications.
  • Its form of use is equal to all the others that we have explained.  Apply with a cotton or soft sponge, and let dry.
It is a fresh tonic that will allow us to eliminate impurities .

4.  Natural tonic for oily skin

The benefits of  rosemary  and sage are easily visible and are a good treatment for oily skin.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons of rosemary (45 g)
  • 3 tablespoons of sage (45 g)
  • 2 cups of water (500 ml)

Preparation and application

  • We will prepare a tea with the herbs and let it rest.
  • Then we strain it and then store it in a glass container with a lid in the fridge.
  • We can use it at night and in the mornings, before putting on makeup. 

5.  Natural milk and honey toner for dry skin

In this case, the honey is responsible for increasing the moisture of the skin and milk provides a lot of hydration.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons cold milk (45 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey (25 g)

Preparation and application

  • We will combine both ingredients and apply the resulting tonic with a cotton face focusing on areas where the pores are more dilated and exposed.

6.  Natural rice tonic for combination skin

The benefits of rice are wonderful, and this treatment is widely used by Asian women.

Ingredients

  • 1 measure of rice
  • 1 ½ measure of water

Preparation and application

  • We will combine both ingredients in a glass container along with the water, and we will take it to a cool, dry place and free of the rays of light.
  • We must let it rest throughout the night.  During this time, the rice will leave all its nutrients in the water .
  • The next day, we will pour and reserve in another container with a lid, taking it to the fridge to take a cold temperature.
  • This tonic is also placed at night before sleep.
