Recipes to clean the liver naturally

The recipes to clean the liver that we propose in the next space are a supplement for food.  It is very important to bear in mind that they do not act on their own, since in general they should improve their eating habits.
Likewise, it is convenient to reduce the exposure to toxins , avoiding, for example, the consumption of alcohol and tobacco.  The preparations can be taken 3 times a week, or for 2 consecutive weeks as part of a "detox" plan .
After 2 weeks, you should rest for a period of 2 or 3 months before starting treatment again.

1.  Grapefruit, lemon and orange juice

Thanks to its antioxidant properties are the favorites to eliminate toxins and fats from our entire body , in addition to helping the colon and liver .  They also strengthen the immune system and promote good health.


  • 2 oranges
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 grapefruits (pink or yellow)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil (5 g)


  • Take the fruits and, with a knife, remove the husk completely and extract the seeds.
  • Pour all the ingredients in the blender.  If you wish you can add a little water or ice.
  • Process until a homogeneous juice is obtained.
This juice is recommended to take it in the morning and always freshly made .  If you think it's too acidic you can add some green vegetables .

2.  Juice of beet and lemon

The beet is rich in antioxidant because it contains betalins, which is the substance that gives it its characteristic purple color. F avoids the removal of heavy metals from our body and, consequently, helps cleanse the liver. 


  • 1 large beet
  • Juice of 1 large lemon or 2 small


  • Wash the beet, remove the skin and puncture it.
  • Squeeze the lemon.
  • Take everything to the blender and process.

3.  Orange and ginger juice

This juice combines the antioxidant benefits of orange with the properties of ginger . The latter helps improve everything related to digestion and has anti-inflammatory qualities .  The result will be a refreshing juice that serves to clean the liver without remorse.


  • 1 large orange or 2 small
  • 1 teaspoon  freshly grated ginger (5 g)


  • Take the orange, peel it and remove the seeds.
  • In the blender or food processor add the orange and ginger and liquefy.
It is advisable to drink this juice 3 nights in a row.  However, if you want to see bigger, effects you can take it for 7 nights.

4.  Dandelion, apple, garlic, ginger and onion

This effective and powerful shake is excellent to cleanse the liver and purify all the toxins that alone can not expel.  Dandelion helps the liver get the enzymes it needs to do its job.  In addition, this drink serves as a diuretic , so it prevents fluid retention. 


  • 1 handful of fresh dandelion
  • 1 cup of water
  • 4 apples
  • 2 cloves of small garlic
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger (10 g)
  • 1 slice of onion


  • First, make an infusion with dandelion and water.
  • Peel and chop the apple and garlic.
  • Pour all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
  • Enjoy your super juice.

5.  Grapefruit, garlic and ginger juice

The Grapefruit is an excellent fruit to remove toxins and a great ally for liver health.  Combined with the benefits of ginger and garlic, we can obtain a juice that is perfect to stimulate detoxification. 


  • The juice of 2 grapefruits
  • The juice of 4 lemons
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 slice of ginger
  • 1 ½ glass of water (300 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil (32 g)


  • In a glass squeeze the grapefruit and lemons.
  • Grate the ginger.
  • In the blender add the juices squeezed together with the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
