The poems in this collection contemplate myriad structures/ definitions of home – the shifting fluidity of it in the Indian context. What are we, or where are we? To answer that question one has to cease reading maps as if they know what they are searching for, instead, allow one’s memory to serve as a guide. Let poetry, thus, be the atlas of your mind. Let the border become a plateau from where the unimaginable, is also transcendental, where what was once the poet’s shell, is now a renewed idea of the shelf.
